Episode Overview
Roz Patterson starts her first day as the Administration Assistant at the Mount Thomas police station, feeling a bit overwhelmed. Unsure of what to call her boss, she settles on "Boss" instead of the suggested "Sir." Unfortunately, her day doesn't go smoothly, leading her to consider resigning. Meanwhile, Nick is dispatched to the railway station to look into a baby left abandoned. He and Maggie take the infant to the hospital for a check-up, while Nick asks Maggie to reach out to local cab drivers for information. When a couple arrives at the hospital claiming the baby is theirs, PJ asks for identification. After questioning them at the station, Maggie and PJ determine the couple is not the baby's rightful guardians. Nick receives a call from the mother, and Maggie worries about how he will handle the situation.
