Episode Overview

Jo Parrish, usually quick with her words, finds herself momentarily stunned when she meets her father Jeff's new girlfriend, Shaylee Smith. To her shock, Shaylee is almost the same age as Jo! Jo can't fathom how her father could be dating someone so young. On top of that, she harbors strong suspicions about Shaylee's intentions. Jo is not only wary but also frustrated that her dad (played by Bill Young) might be involved in a romantic relationship with someone who is practically her peer, as Jane Allsop describes her character’s emotional turmoil.
