Episode Overview

Daniel, Tom's teenage step-son, discovers a classmate wounded in an alley, and both Jonesy and Tess are taken aback to see the victim wielding a knife. While Daniel insists he knows nothing about any gangs, his younger brother contradicts him. The situation intensifies when the stab victim disappears from the hospital. Jonesy and Tess confront the boys, who are now in a standoff with knives drawn. As Tess attempts to defuse the conflict, one of the boys charges at her, prompting Jonesy to leap in front of her, resulting in him being stabbed in the abdomen.
