Episode Overview

Tensions are high in Mt. Thomas as Joss and Kelly intervene when a girl has a breakdown in a store, only to later discover that the town is plagued by the sale of bad speed. Meanwhile, PJ and Nick are at odds regarding Tom's motives, while Amy seeks someone to allow her to assist. Ben and Susie maintain a professional demeanor around one another, much to Jonesy's annoyance. After clarifying the roles of the Sergeants—Ben in Operations and Mark in Administration—the DNA results reveal that Troy Baxter tampered with Grace's car. To establish that he raped her, they must halt the funeral to collect DNA from his body, infuriating the Baxter family. Although it’s confirmed that Troy raped Grace, PJ begins to agree with Nick that Tom may be exaggerating the situation by accusing the Baxters of bombing the station. This escalates when Tom confronts Barry Baxter and insinuates they’re involved in drug dealing, leading PJ to believe that Tom is losing his grip
