During a late-night heist at the Imperial Hotel, the pub owner, Chris Riley, unexpectedly arrives. A confrontation ensues in the dimly lit bar, resulting in Chris sustaining a deep cut on his hand. Meanwhile, a young female thief suffers a severe head injury, leaving her in a coma.
