Episode Overview
Amy and Even are in the midst of an undercover operation when their identities are compromised, nearly resulting in Matt being shot. Meanwhile, Tom is grappling with his cancer diagnosis and understands the need to reconnect with his estranged family. His focus wavers when Adam Cooper, a disgraced ex-cop whom Tom had dismissed for corruption, shows up in Mount Thomas as a photocopier technician. Cooper tries to frame Tom by accusing him of illegally selling stolen firearms after the bombing of the old police station, much to Inspector Falcon-Price's delight, who readily believes him. Tom also supports fellow cancer patient Gina in her last days, while Alex and Amy brace themselves for Tom's upcoming case, which he seems indifferent about, straining their limits. After the accusations against Tom, the Inspector declares the closure of the Mount Thomas station, prompting the Heelers to seek new jobs and face the reality of leaving. Ultimately, Cooper's plot fails, the station remains open, and the Inspector departs,
