Dash realizes that her love for gossip could lead to trouble when she and Adam overhear Shire President Roger Payne having lunch with a woman who isn’t his wife. While on a three-day surveillance mission to catch an extortionist threatening to blow up a restaurant, boredom sets in as they sit idle in the car. Just when they finally overhear something juicy, the real extortionists slip away, leaving PJ frustrated. He asks Tom to extend the investigation, but Tom explains that the resources are tied to another unit and can’t be held without a solid reason. PJ feels the pressure to keep his promise to Bluey, the anxious restaurateur, while Dash remains fixated on uncovering the identity of the woman.
