Chris Riley becomes the focus of corporate interest when a spokesperson from a major development firm arrives in town. He plans to tear down the Imperial to make way for a massive shopping mall and is willing to offer a substantial amount of money to make it happen. Although Chris is hesitant, the financial incentive might be hard for her to resist. In another storyline, Adam is drawn to a glamorous photographer he stops during a traffic enforcement operation.
