PJ learns that a man from Adelaide, suspected of murdering his wife, has recently used one of his credit cards nearby, prompting the Heelers to be on high alert. He rallies the team to notify local businesses. At the pub, Klaus confronts Wade Knight, whom he blames for his accident, and tries to provoke a fight before Nick intervenes. Nick takes both his father and Wade to the station, where PJ and Maggie discover Wade's Adelaide connection—could he be the killer? Dash assists PJ in uncovering Wade's background, revealing a credit card scam spanning both Victoria and South Australia. However, the shocking reason behind Wade's actions puts Dash in grave danger. Meanwhile, Nick grows increasingly worried about his father, as evidence starts to suggest Klaus may have caused the accident.
