Episode Overview

Under the guise of investigating a vandalism case at a farm, Adam and Dash catch sight of Nick struggling to present a ring box to Zoe. They strain to see if she’ll accept the proposal, but their view is blocked. Could a wedding be on the horizon? Their speculation is abruptly interrupted by a frantic call—Zoe's horse has been struck by a car. When they arrive, Zoe is distraught, desperate to end her horse’s suffering herself. Nick persuades her to put down her pistol and let the vet handle it. The situation worsens when they reveal that during their inquiry, they met a man at her house claiming to be her boyfriend, Martin Bridport. Furious, Zoe accuses Martin of trespassing and blames him for her horse's death. Martin denies any wrongdoing, but Zoe remains convinced that her ex is responsible.
