The Heelers step in to safeguard the local veterinarian, who has mandated inspections of all sheep farms following a breakout of a highly contagious illness. Johne's disease poses a serious threat to the sheep population in Mt. Thomas, and the vet, nicknamed "Dr. Death," is not winning any popularity contests. As farmers grow frustrated with the inspections, they seek someone to blame for the outbreak, and all eyes turn to Senior Constable Robyn Taylor, whose new sheep have raised suspicions. Robyn and her husband Jeff left the city for a quieter life in Mt. Thomas, hoping to supplement their income with sheep while they launch a vineyard. The local farmers look down on their efforts and quickly suspect the Taylors of introducing the disease. When one of Robyn's sheep dies, the town's anxieties intensify. Ben and PJ dig deeper, discovering that Jeff forged a deed of sale and purchased the sheep online. How could he have been so naive?
