Episode Overview
The Heelers are in a tizzy over finding dance partners for the Racing Club Carnival. However, excitement turns to dread when an armed robbery leaves a security guard critically injured. The only clue left behind is a Mudlark's Grand Final Pin. Could one of Jack's teammates be involved? To investigate, the Heelers enlist football coach Ian Waldron to identify the players with pins. The mood darkens further when Ian reveals that his son Matt, Jack's close friend, is gravely ill with a brain tumor. Ian has exhausted his savings seeking treatment for Matt in Brazil and must shut down his factory. With Matt's life in peril and the impending birth of his child approaching, Jack struggles to verify his friends' alibis during the robbery and is troubled by Scott's odd behavior since Matt returned.
