Episode Overview

When a young Chilean backpacker disappears, PJ is brought in to investigate. The case takes a troubling turn as it echoes another recent disappearance of a female backpacker in Mildura, raising fears that the two may share a grim fate. Complicating matters is Archie Garrett, an eager private investigator hired by the missing girl’s parents, who insists on teaming up with PJ. Initially, he seems to hinder her progress while griping about the station’s coffee. However, as more evidence surfaces, Archie appears to be conveniently present at critical moments. PJ, a seasoned detective, knows trust must be earned, but she’s left questioning whether Archie is genuinely helpful or simply meddling.
