Episode Overview

Tess and Jonesy respond to a call about a domestic dispute, where Tess unexpectedly crosses paths with Hayley, a troubled girl from her past. They uncover a portrait of an unpopular neighbor, which is riddled with bullet holes; he insists that Hayley is to blame, but Tess stands up for her. Meanwhile, an elderly woman’s dog is discovered shot, and PJ finds that the bullets from both incidents match. When the gun is located, it seems to point to Hayley’s guilt. Tess’s unwavering belief in Hayley’s innocence drives them towards the truth, but it could jeopardize Hayley’s future. Will Tess risk her own stability for Hayley’s sake?
