Episode Overview
Responding to a distress signal, Team Lightyear stumbles upon a vessel under siege by the Vulturans, a bird-like species that XR recognizes as hostile toward robots. They manage to fend off the attackers, but in the chaos, XR goes into a destructive frenzy and becomes severely damaged. After the LGMs repair him, they find evidence of metal fatigue. This report is forwarded to Commander Nebula, who accidentally spills coffee, obscuring the text to read "mental fatigue" instead. Consequently, XR is sent to the luxurious Mahamba 6 for a getaway before undergoing a psychiatric evaluation with Dr. Animus, a quirky psychiatrist. However, while there, XR is picked up by a taxi driver, revealed to be XL, who lured him in with a fraudulent vacation offer and plans to steal his body.
