Episode Overview

Title: Trust Plot: Mike faces a sexual harassment lawsuit from a nurse at his workplace, and, though hesitant, he chooses Ed as his attorney. Their long-standing friendship hits a rough patch when a deposition uncovers Mike's decision to hide crucial evidence that could jeopardize his defense, stemming from his lack of faith in Ed's belief in his innocence. Meanwhile, after her short story is turned down for publication, Carol follows Molly's suggestion to enhance her writing by contributing to Stuckeyville's newspaper. However, she quickly becomes frustrated by the lack of any noteworthy stories in the town. In a misguided attempt, Phil embarks on a plan to establish a union at Stuckeybowl after Ed denies him access to the snack bar refrigerator for a party in his motel room.
