Carol enlists Ed's help with her friend Sonja, whose husband Andy is seeking a divorce after learning that Sonja had previously advertised herself in a mail-order bride catalog. Living in a no-contest divorce state, Andy can finalize the divorce immediately, putting Sonja at risk of deportation back to Brazil. As Ed digs deeper into the situation, he reflects on his own failed marriage and decides to reach out to Liz in hopes of repairing their relationship.
