Episode Overview

Mike and Nancy spend a chaotic weekend at a bed-and-breakfast managed by an overly enthusiastic owner with her own plans. Meanwhile, Ed is babysitting Sarah while Frankie is away, but when it becomes clear that Sarah needs a maternal figure, Carol steps in and starts to see Ed in a new, more appealing light. Both Ed and Carol take it to heart when another toddler snubs Sarah, leading them to create the ultimate playdate experience. On the other hand, Phil tries to draw attention to his "ebony and ivory" friendship with Eli for a newspaper piece, but Jerry Dobbs is only keen on focusing on Eli instead.
