Episode Overview
The O'Hara family welcomes new neighbors, the Richmonds, which includes imaginative young Stevie and his older sister, Jennifer. The two families decide to have a picnic at Sunset Mountain, where Martin plans to search for a rare alloy that hasn’t been discovered yet. Stevie, who loves to imagine he’s from Mars, captures Martin’s interest, leaving Tim to enjoy some one-on-one time with Jennifer. However, Jennifer worries that Stevie has trouble distinguishing between reality and his fantasies. While Martin collects his alloy, Stevie's adventurous play leads him to climb the mountain, but he soon finds himself stuck. Martin suggests Tim save him, but Tim is terrified of heights. With encouragement from Martin, who assures him he’ll be safe thanks to a remote-controlled gravitation machine, Tim reluctantly makes the ascent.
