Episode Overview
Martin is in a rush to fly his spaceship, which is suffering from inertia issues. Tim's worst fears come true when their flight is classified as a UFO sighting. With another flight needed, Mrs. Brown alerts the authorities, sending Jack and Jim to investigate from their apartment. Seizing the moment, Martin takes off again, using their plutron counter to find the spaceship hidden in the garage. He cleverly places plutron in Mrs. Brown's apron pocket, causing the counter to point at her instead. Jack and Jim, confused by the readings, think the counter is faulty. As they bicker with Mrs. Brown, Martin escapes. Tim cleverly distracts them with a spoon hanging from a tree, making it appear like a flying saucer through their telescope. Martin completes his flight unnoticed and returns home safely. To cover his tracks, he exposes Tim as the hoax mastermind, using the spoon on the string as evidence for his story.
