Uncle Martin accidentally takes in a drifter named Shorty Smith, believing him to be a Martian Scout. Shorty quickly adapts to the luxuries of living with Martin and Tim. When Martin discovers the truth about Shorty’s identity, both he and Tim find it quite challenging to send him on his way.
