Overview
Gomorrah - The Origins delves into the early life of Pietro Savastano in the 1970s, set against a backdrop of a changing Naples scarred by poverty and cigarette trafficking. The tale kicks off in 1977, where a young Pietro, without a true family, finds himself in an adoptive home in the destitute area of Secondigliano. As a streetwise kid, he struggles to survive while yearning for a life of comfort that seems out of reach. The narrative follows his journey of lost innocence alongside his brothers and childhood friends, filled with dreams, ambitions, and a tumultuous first love. His fateful meeting with Angelo, known as 'A Sirena,' introduces him to the criminal underworld. Through a series of violent encounters, alliances, and betrayals, Pietro learns the harsh costs of life.
