Episode Overview
Todd Mitchell, a fellow freshman at D.J.'s high school, is fueling a rumor that D.J. is an awful kisser. This is his petty revenge for her rejecting his attempt to kiss her after leaving the library. D.J. confides in Kimmy about a sympathy card she received from Kathy Santoni, who humorously labels the situation as a "mega crisis." Meanwhile, Danny, pretending to gather laundry, sneaks into D.J.'s room and discovers the card. Intrigued by the term "mega crisis," he becomes eager to learn more. Later, at a bowling alley, Danny spends time with D.J. until Kimmy arrives and takes her to the mall, where Todd keeps spreading the rumor. Back at home, Danny accidentally slips and mentions "mega crisis," hinting to D.J. that he has seen the card.
