Meanwhile, Archie grapples with a difficult choice that puts his relationship with Miss Grundy to the test. In another part of town, Betty takes the initiative to bring back the school newspaper and enlists Jughead's help to dig deeper into Jason's case. Veronica and Ethel aim to expose certain Riverdale High football players after rumors of a "shame book" start to spread. Lastly, after being grounded by his father Fred, Archie must find a way to attend the Taste of Riverdale event, where Josie and the Pussycats will perform a song he co-wrote.
