Sam Carlson, the local inventor and DIY enthusiast, attempts to construct a vertical access wind turbine from scrap materials salvaged from an old shipyard. Additionally, Hans Porter investigates the pH levels of the town's water supply, only to uncover a dead tree endangering the integrity of the town's pipeline.
