Episode Overview

Title: Desert Lions Plot: Once, the arid landscapes of Namibia's Skeleton Coast were home to flourishing lion populations, but human intervention led to their near extinction. Six years ago, unconventional biologist Flip Stander stumbled upon a small group of these majestic creatures surviving in the adjacent mountains and began researching them. Their population has since expanded, and they are gradually re-entering the desert. To ensure their survival in this region, Flip must convince the local communities that the value of these lions is greater when they are alive rather than hunted.
