Host Jonathan Bennett introduces four competing teams in the initial qualifying round, where each group of skilled cake, sugar, and pumpkin creators must craft a scene featuring a monster from a designated historical era. Judges Shinmin Li and Aarti Sequeira will evaluate the creations to determine which three teams advance to the main competition and which team will be eliminated from the contest.
