Episode Overview

Jerry splurges on a lavish suede jacket featuring a vibrant inner lining. Meanwhile, George can't shake a tune from Les Miserables that's stuck in his head. Kramer enlists Elaine to help him for a couple of minutes as he needs assistance picking up some doves from a magician friend. In return, he promises her a ride to the hotel where Jerry and George are waiting. As they await Elaine's arrival with her father, Alton Benes—a writer reminiscent of Hemingway—snow begins to fall. To shield his new jacket, Jerry flips it inside out, but Alton is mortified to be seen with him in that state.
