Episode Overview

In this tale, we delve into Captain Planet's earliest adventure as Gaia shares a story from the past. She explains how Hoggish Greedly's grandfather, Don Porkaloin, constructed Decco developments perilously close to the ocean, jeopardizing marine life. To combat this, Gaia summoned a group of eco-warriors from the 1940s—ancestors of the current Planeteers. These early heroes could also call upon Captain Planet, who dismantled Porkaloin's destructive projects. The Planeteers, however, are left puzzled about the authenticity of Gaia's tale, completely overlooking the critical issue of building too near the shore.
