Verminous Skumm aims to demonstrate to Duke Nukem that humanity is on a path to destruction by stealing nuclear devices and secretly placing them in conflict-ridden regions worldwide. He stirs up chaos by providing triggers to the fighting factions, leading to a looming threat of annihilation. In a race against time, the Planeteers work tirelessly to convince the rival groups in each area to pursue peace instead of escalating their conflicts into war.
