Captain Planet and the Planeteers (1990)

Episode Overview

Hoggish Greedley secures a permit to destroy a wetland habitat, threatening several endangered species in the process. When the Planeteers and Captain Planet attempt to intervene, Greedley has them arrested for trespassing. At the sheriff’s office, Rigger cleverly poses as a deputy. Greedley opts to release the Planeteers but keeps Captain Planet locked up. As the sheriff returns, Greedley falsely claims the Planeteers have escaped. Determined to expose Greedley and rescue Captain Planet, the Planeteers launch their own investigation. The sheriff ultimately celebrates the protection of the endangered species by dedicating the wetland to Captain Planet and the Planeteers.
