Captain Planet and the Planeteers (1990)

Episode Overview

The Planeteers are scaling Mount Everest in the Himalayas when they chase after a snow leopard and tumble into a hidden cavern. Inside, they meet a Yeti and a group of 12 talking animals that are either extinct or endangered. These creatures begin to assess not just the Planeteers but humanity as a whole. They transport the group back to the Ice Age and other historical eras, revealing how humans have hunted them or destroyed their habitats, leading to their decline.
