On their inaugural night on the train, Ruby finds her thoughts preoccupied with desire, while Billy digs for intimate details she’s hesitant to share. She finds solace in the belief that her husband thinks she’s away on a week-long yoga retreat and, eager to evoke jealousy in Billy, she boldly flirts with Derek, a fellow passenger. At the same time, Billy is dealing with an unwelcome presence from his past that he’s determined to move on from.
