Episode Overview

Lizzie and Miranda observe a curious change in girls once they get their first bras and decide they’re ready for the milestone themselves. They concoct a scheme to convince Lizzie's mom to take them to the mall under the guise of shopping for "school supplies." However, Lizzie's inability to lie leads her to accidentally reveal their true intent. While her mom is thrilled to assist, she ends up embarrassing Lizzie and Miranda during their shopping trip. Tensions rise as Lizzie snaps at her mom, insisting they can handle it alone. Their embarrassment escalates when they encounter Kate, Claire, and Mr. Coppersmith, realizing they’re clueless about what to actually buy.
