Episode Overview

When Adam, emotionally vulnerable and struggling to re-establish ties with Joan, goes missing after a hiking trip, both Joan and Grace fear the worst. Grace tries to mend the rift between her friends, but Joan’s harsh treatment of Adam leads her to regret her actions when she realizes he might be in peril. Meanwhile, Helen is taken aback when a priest informs her that the man who assaulted her two decades ago wishes to see her at his deathbed to offer an apology. Additionally, Luke is both troubled and fascinated by Friedman's newfound habit of smoking marijuana.
