Episode Overview
Mrs. Webster, the McCoys' neighbor, seeks their help in her campaign for a City Council position, but Grampa is skeptical, believing that women shouldn’t be involved in politics. Upon discovering that literacy is required to vote, he resorts to several tricks to try to pass the reading test. Ultimately, his natural honesty shines through, leading him to not only succeed in the test but also to lend his support to Mrs. Webster in her political endeavors.
