Episode Overview

In August 1992, wealthy landowner Allen Roberts returns home to find his wife gone. He reports to the police that he received a ransom demand for her release. As the investigation unfolds, the townspeople begin to suspect Allen, shifting their focus away from sympathy. However, the authorities soon start to notice one peculiar neighbor who might hold the key to unraveling the mystery.
