American Dad! (2005)

Episode Overview

After Roger reveals to Steve that his father isn't as brilliant as he thought, the ambitious duo sets out to chase fame and wealth in New York City. However, Roger quickly loses everything on Wall Street, leaving Steve to consider a life of prostitution after Jon Stewart rejects his stand-up act. Meanwhile, the rest of the family assumes they've merely retreated to the tree house. When a lightning storm causes it to explode, they are heartbroken but find comfort in Steve's college fund as a silver lining.
