Overview

Set in 1990 New York City, amidst the vibrant "Golden Age" of rap, the story continues from the original film's conclusion. Nikki secures a coveted position as the assistant to the notorious and unpredictable Barry Fouray. Meanwhile, her best friend DeeVee collaborates with rapper Ahm, who faces a murder investigation. As they navigate the challenges of a genre still struggling for acceptance in the corporate sphere, these ambitious individuals will stop at nothing to carve their names into the hip-hop landscape, testing their limits and loyalty along the way.
