Struggling to gain acceptance from the "cool kids," Steve finds himself the subject of a wager between Klaus and Roger, who bet on how fast Roger can transform him into a social standout. Their attempts to boost Steve's popularity repeatedly flop until he unexpectedly lands the role of the in-crowd's designated driver. Meanwhile, Stan and Francine engage in a playful game of one-upmanship, each pulling pranks on the other.
