Against Stan's wishes, Francine surprises Steve with the dog he's always dreamed of. Unfortunately, tragedy strikes when the dog gets into a terrible accident. Stan, haunted by a traumatic experience from his childhood, is adamant about keeping the puppy on life support, even as the family grapples with the difficult situation.
