Episode Overview

Sean O'Neill is trapped in a miserable marriage with Yvonne, enduring a cycle of abuse that he tries to hide from her family. Yvonne struggles to escape the nightmare, but her mother Mary and sister Kerry see through the facade. When Kerry shows up to support Yvonne, Sean becomes increasingly irritated. Summoning her courage, Yvonne enlists Kerry’s partner Alex to change the locks, preventing Sean from entering their home. However, he demands to see the children, leading to a violent confrontation where Alex is attacked. The stress proves too much for Mary, who dies unexpectedly after witnessing the violence. Remembering Mary’s harsh words to Sean, Yvonne and Kerry take matters into their own hands, confronting a drunken Sean and fatally attacking him with baseball bats, ultimately burying him in the same plot as Mary.
