Postman Wayne (Mark Benton) has had a rough patch lately. His wife Val has left him, taking their two sons and the dog with her; his back pain is worsening, making his postal rounds increasingly difficult, and he's struggling financially. A night out at a speed-dating event takes a turn when he becomes interested in Rachel, who battles a stammer that Wayne fails to empathize with. At rock bottom, Wayne dreams of escaping to a warm, sunny place like Greece for a fresh start. Motivated to change, he begins opening mail meant for the affluent neighborhoods, pocketing any cash before delivering the rest. However, 15-year-old Damien, a truant who can't read, has been observing Wayne and decides to confront him. Can Wayne convince Damien to keep his secret?
