Title: Shadows of the Past Plot: Myra Elbrey reluctantly accepts the return of Milo Surgant, a former student, to Excelsior, where he will assist as a translator for Lt. Pergium, a Horta exogeologist, in their examination of the Ba'ku tetrahedron. As they gear up for the mission, Myra becomes increasingly anxious that Milo might exploit his Betazoid abilities, a concern that has haunted her for years. When she experiences a telepathic assault as an act of vengeance, Henglaar starts to grasp the true extent of his feelings for Myra.
