When Doogie's father is sidelined due to a back injury, Doogie finds himself in need of a fishing companion. Unfortunately, his mother steps in, but her lack of fishing skills proves to be a challenge. Meanwhile, Vinnie takes on the role of caretaker for Dr. Howser, adding to the chaos of the day. As Doogie navigates the ups and downs of fishing with his mom, he learns valuable lessons about patience and family.
