Sam is excited for a visit from his dad, Doug Dullard, hoping for some special bonding time in Ocean Shores. However, Doug is preoccupied with his work and more interested in Sam's new friends than spending time with Sam himself. Even their outings to the water slides, Laser Crater, and Sno-Mart can’t fill the void, leaving The Squid feeling neglected. Will Doug realize his son's feelings before he heads back to Kansas?
