When daylight-saving time causes Lambert to miss his flight, he unexpectedly encounters a country music legend whose songs have been cherished for two centuries. Seizing the moment, Lambert eagerly engages with her before her television debut. As their connection deepens, Lambert learns of another admirer—a mysterious figure who sends her ominous gifts. Upon meeting this stranger, Lambert discovers he’s a deranged time traveler intent on guiding the young singer through her struggles, and he is not pleased with Lambert's interference. Things take a turn when the singer dismisses Lambert's warnings, forcing him to contemplate revealing his true origins to protect her life.
