Can you believe Disneyland Resort almost didn't have a hotel? Discover how Walt made it a reality. Originally intended as a part of the Park, securing funding for the hotel was a challenge. So, Walt teamed up with producer Jack Wrather, who would own the hotel while allowing Walt's name to feature prominently. Their partnership created an immersive experience that laid the groundwork for future Disney hotels. Following Jack's passing, The Walt Disney Company acquired the Disneyland Hotel, and now Disney manages numerous hotels around the globe.
