Episode Overview
As Senate arrives at the school, he intervenes to protect a student from a gang attack. After much persuasion, the boy admits he's involved with the Crips and wants to leave the gang after killing a rival. However, Senate can't report this to the authorities due to his promise, forcing him to keep the secret from Lauren, his colleagues, and the police. Meanwhile, Harper becomes increasingly wary of Lisa and Buttle's growing bond, prompting Guber to inform Lisa's parents about the rumored relationship. In a panic, Milton tries to end things with Lisa, but she insists on a last encounter, leading to her father walking in on them. As a result, Buttle is fired, sending shockwaves through Winslow High. When Riley tries to support Milton, Guber fires him too for not sharing crucial information.
