Ezra Burnham and his daughter Sarah have mastered the art of faith healing. Ezra, a preacher whose belief faltered after his wife's death, takes center stage, laying hands on the sick and disabled. Meanwhile, Sarah operates behind the scenes, using a small earpiece to relay messages about the audience members she’s strategically placed. Everything runs smoothly until a mysterious young man named Luke, who is not part of their setup, approaches Ezra during a revival. To everyone’s shock, when Ezra touches Luke, he not only stands up from his wheelchair but also begins to levitate. After the event, Luke and his mother, Serna, make a surprising offer: if Ezra teaches Luke the ins and outs of the revival circuit, Luke will lend his extraordinary abilities to their act.
